The Application Behavior Guide specifies the general behavior for applications in different situations. These behaviour guidelines are used internally within UIQ Technology when developing applications. These guidelines are published to external developers to assist in developing applications that behave similarly to the built-in UIQ applications to provide end users with a familiar experience. This helps users quickly get started with using new applications as they will behave like applications they are already used to using.
The Application Behavior Guide is divided into different functional areas, where general behavior for an application is defined.
